First noticed under the desert regions of Sentosa, the Magurg Male has a unique appearance, differing dramatically from its Female counterpart.

The Male's function in the social hierarchy appears to be as nothing more than a tool for the production of the much more aggressive female population. IFN zoologists currently theorise that the Male's defensive apparatus evolved primarily to aid it in this role. As a result, it may not think to attack you until it is convinced you are a threat.
