The Papoo are indigenous to Next Island, they are very mischievous, protective of their young and often can be aggressive if they feel threatened. They have sharp teeth and like to bite and throw things. The natives consider the Papoo to be a sacred animal. Also be warned, they love shiny objects and love to steal.

Tests using young showed:
- Damage ranging from 1.1 to 2.0 against Pixie but never 1.0.
- About 1 point more damage against Goblin.
This would seem to suggest that:
- They do mostly impact
- Also some small amount of cut
- An additional damage type not covered by Pixie or Goblin, most likely stab.
